Data Deletion Instructions

Effective Date: June 15, 2026

You have full control over your 8ight.AI data. Here's how to delete it:

Option 1: Disconnect from Dashboard (Immediate)

1. Log in to your 8ight.AI dashboard
2. Go to your Instagram or Facebook tab in the sidebar
3. Click "Disconnect" on the platform you want to remove
4. All access tokens are immediately revoked and encrypted records are nullified

Option 2: Full Account Deletion (Email Request)

1. Email daniel@8ight.ai from your registered email
2. Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
3. We will:
   • Confirm receipt within 48 hours
   • Permanently delete all account data within 30 days
   • Revoke all third-party platform access tokens
   • Email confirmation upon completion

What We Delete

• Account information (name, email, business)
• All Facebook Page and Instagram Business access tokens
• Published content metadata and analytics
• SEO data and reports

What We Cannot Delete

• Content already published on your Facebook or Instagram pages — you must remove that directly from those platforms
• Aggregated, anonymized analytics that cannot be tied back to your account

Revoke Access Directly from Facebook

You can also revoke our access at any time from Facebook itself:

Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations → find "8ight.AI" → Remove
