Meta ads

Meta ads, with the videos made for you.

We write and produce UGC-style video ads, run them on Facebook and Instagram, and every week read which ones work, pause the ones that fade, and make the next round from the winners.

What UGC is, and why it works on Meta

UGC means user-generated content. In an ad, it is a video that looks like something a customer would post.

What it is

One person, talking to the camera on a phone, the way a customer tells a friend about something they bought. Plain light, plain words, captions on screen. Not a polished commercial with a voice-over and a jingle.

Why it works on Meta

  • It looks like the posts around it in the feed, so people watch before they decide it is an ad.
  • A person talking reads as a recommendation, not a pitch.
  • It is quick to make many versions of one video, and Meta rewards testing many versions.

What we do with it, step by step

Nothing goes live until you have watched it.

01

Scripts from what sells

We read your account first. Every live ad is tagged by the angle it argues and the hook it opens on, and new scripts are written from the angles already working.

02

The video, your way

An AI presenter, or your own real footage cut into 8 to 10 variations. You choose. Both are explained below.

03

Several hooks each

The first seconds decide whether anyone keeps watching, so each video goes out with several different openings, captions and first frames.

04

Built paused

Every ad is built in your account paused. You watch it and approve it before a dollar is spent.

Option A

An AI presenter

A presenter made with AI reads the script to camera, with real lip-sync and a natural voice. Every ad that uses one is labelled as AI, as Meta requires.

Good when you have no footage, or need many versions fast.

Option B

Your own footage

You send us real video of you, your team or your product. We cut it into 8 to 10 variations, with new openings, captions and order. No stock, and no AI people on screen.

AI works only behind the scenes, reading the numbers and helping the edit.

One video becomes dozens of tests

This is what happens to a single video. It is split into versions, each version is scored, the losers are paused, and the winners become the next round.

Example, not a client account

Step 4 of 4Each winner gets two new versions for the next round, built paused until you approve them.

Illustration of how the loop works; the numbers are made up for the example. Each version is scored the way our loop scores real ads: click-through rate, cost per click, and fatigue, which is the same people seeing an ad again and again while its click rate falls.

The loop: read, score, decide, rebuild

Your ad account already knows which videos work. Most accounts never read it at the level of the single ad. Ours is read again every week.

Read

Down to the single ad

Performance for every ad, and every one tagged by the angle it argues and the hook it opens on. Not "video 4 did well". Why it did.

Score

Winners and fatigue, apart

An ad the same people keep seeing while its click rate drops is a different problem from one that never worked, so they are scored separately.

Decide

Scale, keep or pause

Every ad gets a call with a reason. Fading ads are paused, because pausing only saves money and is undone in a click.

Rebuild

The next round

Briefs for new videos are written from the angles that are winning, produced, and added beside the winners, paused until you approve them.

Your account. Your budget.

You add us as a partner in your Meta Business Manager. The ad account, the page and the budget stay in your business's name, and you can see every ad we build, any time, in your own Ads Manager.

  • Facebook and Instagram
  • UGC-style video: an AI presenter or your own footage
  • Several hooks for every video
  • Every ad built paused and approved by you
  • A weekly read of every live ad

Before you ask

Is it AI?

The reading and scoring of your account is done by software, and script drafts are written with AI from the angles that sell; a person checks every ad before it reaches you. On screen, it is your choice: an AI presenter, labelled as AI in every ad as Meta requires, or your own real footage with no AI people at all.

Does it spend my money on its own?

No. It pauses ads that are fading, because pausing only ever saves money and can be undone in a click. New ads are built paused. Anything that raises spend waits for your approval.

Can I use only my own footage?

Yes. Send us real video and we cut it into 8 to 10 variations per video, with different openings, captions and order. No stock footage and no AI-made people. AI is used only behind the scenes, for reading the numbers and the edit.

Which platforms?

Facebook and Instagram, through your own Meta ad account. We would rather tell you exactly what is connected than list logos.

Tell us about your business. A person from 8ight will read your account and send you what we found: which ads carry it, which are fading, and what to make next. You'll hear from us the same business day.

Got it. A person from 8ight will be in touch the same business day.

Facebook and Instagram are Meta products; 8ight manages ads in accounts owned by our clients. Ad spend is set by you and charged by Meta to the account's billing. Every ad with an AI-made presenter is labelled as AI.
