A proposed file that tells AI systems what your site is about. Worth understanding, and worth being honest about how little it currently guarantees.
New articles every week, published automatically to your own site. How many depends on the plan.
The same engine publishes every week for businesses we own, so we live with its output the way our clients do.
llms.txt is a proposed convention: a plain-text file at the root of your site that describes, in a form built for machines, what the site contains and which pages matter. Think of it as robots.txt for meaning rather than for crawling permission.
It is not a standard that every AI system honours, and adding one does not cause an assistant to recommend you. Adoption is partial and voluntary. Anyone selling llms.txt implementation as an AI-visibility service is selling you a twenty-minute job with an uncertain payoff.
It costs almost nothing and it does no harm, so if your site is otherwise in order, add it. But add it after the things that definitely matter — a correct Business Profile, consistent details, pages that clearly say what you do. Those are what an assistant actually retrieves you from today.
Where 8ight fits. Everything above is work that has to happen continuously. We automate the publishing half: three to six articles a week onto your own site, built to rank and carrying everything Google rewards. You can read what published today before you spend anything.
No. Nothing makes an assistant recommend you. It may make your site easier to interpret for the systems that read the file, which is a smaller and more honest claim.
Not in traditional search, no. Treat it as a courtesy to machines rather than a lever.
It is a text file. If somebody quotes you meaningfully for it, that tells you something about the rest of their proposal.
Pricing is tailored to the business. The plans differ by publishing volume and how much of the AI-search work is included; book a demo and we scope it with you, or start free with 3,000 credits, no card.
Enter your URL and we will show you the kind of article that would be publishing for your business.
