AirOps alternatives
The short answer
AirOps describes itself as an "AI search platform with a team of experts (AirOps Services)" that helps brands "set and execute the right AI discovery strategy": AI search insights, agents that create, publish and refresh content, and work across third-party sites, AI ads, social and community, with Solo, Pro and Enterprise plans priced by tasks (as of October 2026, airops.com, AI instructions, pricing). The right alternative depends on what you want to change. If you want only a tool your team runs, look at AI visibility platforms. If you want an SEO suite, look at the suites with AI add-ons. If you want people to do the work, look at GEO agencies. If you want the work done on your own site, and Google Maps, the phone and your leads handled too, 8ight covers each of those on one platform.
What AirOps offers, as of October 2026
- Solo and Pro. Solo, "For individuals building content for one brand or project", with "ChatGPT Insights Only" and 35,000 tasks; Pro, "For small teams building content for one brand or project", with "Insights Across 7+ Answer Engines", 100,000 tasks and "Unlimited Seats for Your Team". Both buttons read "Start for free"; no plan prices are shown, and its FAQ says "Our pricing is based on your task volume and specific needs" (pricing). Its AI instructions page says "Solo is free with 35,000 tasks a month" (AI instructions).
- Enterprise. "Custom Prompts & Pages Limits", "Custom Agent Builds", a "Dedicated Account Manager & Training" and "1:1 Expert Onboarding" (pricing); its enterprise page lists "Daily insights across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, and Google AI Overviews", "SOC 2 Type II" and SSO (enterprise).
- AirOps Services. "A team of channel experts who set strategy and execute it alongside a brand's team, across owned content, external content, AI ads, community, and social and influencer" (AI instructions). Platform and service are "delivered as one connected engagement" (why AirOps).
- In its own words, at scale. "Hundreds of leading brands and agencies, including Webflow, Ramp, Carta, Chime, Angi, Asana, Docebo, and HubSpot" (AI instructions).
- What the pages we read do not mention: Google Maps, the Google Business Profile, local SEO, a phone receptionist, a CRM or building websites (home page, pricing, platform, solutions, enterprise, AI instructions).
Why a buyer might look elsewhere
Some reasons an AirOps buyer might compare other options:
- They have no internal marketing team for AirOps to collaborate with, and want the work done with only an approval from their side.
- The work they need also includes Maps, the phone or the leads that come in.
The alternatives, by kind

1. 8ight: when you want the work done, and more than search
8ight measures what ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity answer to your customers' questions, who they name instead of you, and which sources ChatGPT and Perplexity cite; then it writes and publishes the pages that answer the questions you are missing from, on your own domain. On the same platform: Google Maps rank tracking, an AI receptionist that answers every call and texts you the job, Sales OS for leads and deals, and email campaigns. Agencies can run it under their own brand, and your team can read the data in Claude through a read-only connector. We build websites for customers too, scoped on a call.
Not the right fit if you need Google AI Overviews or AI Mode tracked, daily insights, strategists running third-party placements, AI ads, social and community programmes, or revenue attribution. Today we track four assistants every week and do not report revenue.
2. AI visibility platforms: when your team will do the work
Tools such as Profound and Peec AI measure how brands appear in AI answers. As of our reading on 15 October 2026, Profound calls itself "the AI marketing platform built for the agentic era", tracks "Up to 9 Answer Engines" on Enterprise and runs an AI Marketer that drafts work and "pings you for approval" (tryprofound.com, pricing); Peec AI calls itself "AI Search Analytics for Marketing Teams" and says it "executes each prompt once every 24 hours" (peec.ai).
A fit if you have writers and an SEO team who will act on what the tool finds every week.
3. SEO suites with AI add-ons: when SEO is the main job
Suites built for keyword research, rank tracking and site audits now add an AI visibility module. A fit if your team already lives in one and AI answers are a secondary concern.
4. GEO agencies: when you want people, not a platform
A retainer buys a team that does the work. Compare what each one measures, which assistants, how often, and whether the content is published on your own domain.
How to choose
- Write down the five to ten questions your buyers would ask an AI assistant.
- Ask them yourself, or run our free AI visibility check, which asks ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude, and see who is named.
- Ask for the price of the plan you would actually use, and which assistants it covers, before you compare.
- Decide who on your side will review and approve the work. If nobody will, a tool alone will not change the answer.
- List what else you need after the customer finds you: Maps, the phone, a CRM. That decides whether one platform or several tools fit.
What no alternative can do
Guarantee that an AI assistant names you. The answers are generated each time and change as the assistants change. Anyone promising a fixed result is guessing.
