8ight vs AirOps
The short answer
AirOps says "Run the strategy that wins AI discovery": it "works with you to set and execute the right AI discovery strategy", combining an AI search platform with a team of experts it calls AirOps Services, and sells the platform as Solo, Pro and Enterprise plans priced by tasks (airops.com, AI instructions, pricing, as of October 2026). 8ight is AI infrastructure for business growth: it measures what ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity answer about a business and publishes the work that changes it, and the same platform also covers Google Maps and the Google Business Profile, an AI receptionist, a CRM and email campaigns. If you are an enterprise brand with a marketing team that wants strategists, agents and work across owned content, third-party sites, AI ads, social and community, AirOps may be the better fit. If you want the content researched, written and published to your own site for you, and what happens after the customer finds you on the same platform, 8ight is built for that.

| AirOps (as of October 2026) | 8ight | |
|---|---|---|
| How it describes itself | "Run the strategy that wins AI discovery. AirOps works with you to set and execute the right AI discovery strategy to earn an agent's trust and drive growth for your brand" (home page); "AI search platform with a team of experts (AirOps Services)" (AI instructions) | AI infrastructure for business growth: SEO, GEO, content, the AI receptionist, the CRM and automation as layers of one platform |
| Who it is built for | Its own list starts with "Enterprise marketing, content, SEO, AEO, and GEO teams" and "B2B SaaS and technology companies", and includes "Marketing and advertising agencies managing AI search for multiple clients" (AI instructions) | Businesses, B2B and multi-location brands, and agencies that resell it under their own name |
| Main offer | A platform and a service together: "AirOps combines data, platform, and expertise in one offering rather than making you choose between software and a service provider", "delivered as one connected engagement, not software and services sold as two different offerings" (why AirOps) | A platform that does the work: it researches, writes and publishes, and tracks the result |
| Published price | Solo, Pro and Enterprise, with no plan prices shown: "Our pricing is based on your task volume and specific needs." Solo includes 35,000 tasks and Pro 100,000; extra Solo tasks "cost $0.025 per task" (pricing). Its AI instructions page says "Solo is free" (AI instructions) | Pricing is tailored; book a demo |
| AI assistants tracked | Solo: "ChatGPT Insights Only". Pro: "Insights Across 7+ Answer Engines" (pricing). It names "ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Google AI Mode" (AI instructions) | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, on every GEO plan. Not Google AI Overviews, not Copilot |
| How often | Its enterprise page lists "Daily insights across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, and Google AI Overviews" and "Onsite and offsite opportunity reports refreshed weekly" (enterprise); the pricing page does not state a frequency | Every week. "Your buyers' questions go to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity every week" (home page) |
| Content | "Agents research, create, publish, review, monitor, and refresh your content" (platform), and "Quill publishes natively to 7+ CMS including Webflow, WordPress, and Contentful" (enterprise) | Researches, writes and publishes articles to the business's own site, with images made for each piece, internal links and schema; once you connect Instagram and Facebook, a post from each article |
| Who presses publish | Its agents, after your review: "Every piece routes through your human review process before going live" (enterprise); agents "pause execution, route work to the Inbox, and resume after a reviewer edits or approves" (platform) | We do; on request, your team approves each article first |
| Checks before publishing | "Run automated checks for readability, claim support, information gain, SEO, and AEO" (platform) | "A second reviewer reads every finished article against your written rules and against plain reality"; a sentence that breaks them is fixed, or the article is held (home page) |
| Third-party sites, social and community | External content: it "does the work to earn your brand placement on the sites that will drive results"; it also covers influencer and social, and community, where it "maps the forums, Reddit threads, review sites, and other communities that carry influence in your category" (solutions) | For enterprise brands, the content and source work that changes the answer is part of the programme (GEO for enterprise); on our top plan, the sources an assistant cites instead of you become a task list |
| Reporting and revenue | It "ties every move back to pipeline and revenue" (home page) and feeds AI search data into your Media Mix Model to "Connect AI discovery to revenue attribution" (platform); its Insights include "Google Search Console and GA4 data" (AI instructions) | Google rankings, AI answers and Search Console where connected; a monthly visibility report on the Premium plans; no revenue attribution |
| AI ads | "AirOps handles campaign setup and launch on ChatGPT and Google AI Mode, bidding and spend management, performance reporting" (AI instructions) | Not offered: we do not run ChatGPT ads or build and report on campaigns aimed at AI answers. Our Google Ads service runs Search, Performance Max, YouTube and Shopping campaigns |
| Google Maps and Business Profile | Not mentioned on the pages we read (home page, pricing, platform, why AirOps, solutions, enterprise, customer stories, AI instructions) | Map-rank tracking |
| AI receptionist | Not mentioned on the pages we read | Answers every call to the business, day and night, and texts the job details to the owner |
| CRM | Not mentioned on the pages we read | Sales OS: leads, contacts, deals on a pipeline, tasks and one timeline per lead |
| Websites | Website design or build is not described on the pages we read | We build websites for customers too, scoped on a call |
| Read the data in an AI assistant | AirOps MCP brings its data "into the AI tools a team already uses, including Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Lovable, and Replit", and is "Available in the Claude App Store" (AI instructions); its pricing table marks "AirOps MCP + API" on all three plans (pricing) | A read-only connector listed in Claude's connector directory |
| Agencies and white label | Agencies are among the users it names, and its customer stories include agencies (AI instructions, customer stories); white label is not described on the pages we read, so ask AirOps | Yes: the agency panel, client panel and reports carry the agency's logo and colour, and we never contact its clients |
| Free start | "Start for free" on Solo and Pro (pricing) | A free AI visibility check, no sign-up; free credits to try the platform, no card |
Where AirOps is stronger
We would rather you choose well than choose us. AirOps is a larger company than we are.
- People with the platform. AirOps Services is "a team of channel experts who set strategy and execute it alongside a brand's team" (AI instructions), with "experienced strategists and channel experts" (why AirOps). If you want strategists in the room, that is what it sells.
- More channels. Owned content, third-party placements, AI ads on ChatGPT and Google AI Mode, influencer and social, and community (solutions, AI instructions). We publish to your own site, post each article to Instagram and Facebook where you connect them, and turn the sources an assistant cites into tasks on our top plan.
- More AI engines, checked daily. Its Pro plan lists "Insights Across 7+ Answer Engines" (pricing), and its enterprise page lists daily insights across Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews among others (enterprise). We track ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, every week.
- Revenue in the report. Revenue attribution through your Media Mix Model, with GA4 and Search Console data (platform, AI instructions). We report rankings, AI answers and Search Console, not revenue.
- Enterprise customers. AirOps says it works with "Hundreds of leading brands and agencies, including Webflow, Ramp, Carta, Chime, Angi, Asana, Docebo, and HubSpot" (AI instructions), and its customer stories page publishes named case studies (customer stories).
- A builder for your own team. Playbooks, workflows, Grids, multi-model selection and an agent tool library (platform); on Enterprise, "Run AirOps on your own OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google contracts" (enterprise).
- Research, events and training. A research team, webinars, its "Next Conf" conference and AirOps University, "the certification program for the Content Engineer profession" (home page, research, why AirOps, AI instructions).
- Venture backing. Its own AI instructions page says it raised "a $40M Series B led by Greylock in November 2025 at a $225M valuation" (AI instructions).
Where 8ight is the better fit
- You do not have a marketing team to work alongside. AirOps describes itself as working "as a close collaborator with your internal marketing team", bringing your team in "to focus on the reviews and make the judgment calls" (why AirOps). We research, write and publish to your own domain; you approve the plan once, or, on request, every article.
- You want more than search. The same platform that works on getting you named in AI answers also covers Google Maps and the Business Profile, answers the phone, and keeps the leads in a CRM. AirOps' pages describe AI search, content and marketing channels, not those layers.
- You have locations. Map-grid position tracking sits in the same panel as the AI answers.
- You are an agency that wants the delivery done for you. Under your brand, we research, write and publish the articles on each client's own site; the agency panel and the client panel carry your logo, and we never contact your clients.
What neither of us can do
Guarantee that an AI assistant names you. The answers are generated each time and change as the assistants change. Any vendor or agency that promises a fixed result is guessing.
